"Why is it we want the ones who don't see us instead of those who do..."

It is powerful to know when you have not been seen and to acknowledge it. It may be hurtful to own it. It may even stir up unwanted emotions but it is a step towards seeing yourself. If you fail to see yourself in such a dynamic or fail to own your platform it is a participation in not being seen. Only you know the depth of that impact. So only you can be in service of your understanding that you are worthy of being seen celebrated and embraced fully.

It is powerful to not allow others to make you invisible. Take back your power, have your voice and say no to those that turn a blind eye to your worth, your voice or presence. This action may be a direct path to having the healthy company of those that see you because you can no longer help but to see yourself.
